Check out this awesome pizza personality quiz from Delivery Hero!
It seems like it’s always this time of year when time seems to suddenly rush past, and before you know it, you’re almost at the end of another month. Unfortunately, this means that I have not left enough time for my usual blogging, but I thought I’d share this one with you before the end of the month!
Earlier this week, Nuffnang and IMK colour were super generous and sent me this kettle to try out. If you’ve never heard of the brand IMK before, they do a great range of kitchen appliances and have just launched their IMK colour range of stylish toasters, kettles, blenders and stick mixes in bright and fun colours
All their products are available in a range of colours, but as much as I love bright colours, black seemed to match most of my other kitchen appliances the most (I can’t deal with mismatching colours!). I love the cute design- reminds me a bit of a penguin!
Warm water is my drink of choice so I’ll definitely be putting this kettle to good use, although more in the cooler weather than the warm weather we’re having now!
IMK colour products are available in all Spotlight stores (including their online store)- they’re quite affordable too!
It’s been a bit quiet around here on this blog as of late, no thanks to uni assignments, work and a funny thing called life. For those who have been following my blog for a while, it probably doesn’t come as a surprise- it happens everytime when it reaches this part of the semester 😉 Not enough time to cook the things I want to, much less photograph, edit and blog about them!
Luckily, Menulog has come to the rescue today, giving two lucky readers a chance to win a $15 voucher from Menulog!
I don’t usually order takeaway, because I personally prefer the experience of eating out (and we always make sure our fridge, freezer and pantry are all adequately stocked!), but Menulog is a fantastic option for those who don’t have the time or effort to do so!
For those of you who might not have heard of it before, Menulog is an online take-away and food delivery website features over 3500 restaurants, 11,000 specials and 100,000 reviews. You can browse and order food from local take-away restaurants that deliver to your door- and they have plenty of specials and deals too! 🙂 They have plenty of choices, including anything from Chinese, Pizza, Indian and Thai .
To enter, simply leave a comment on this post on what you would order with a $15 voucher (remember to leave some details so I can contact you if you win!) by the 8th of May, 2014. Winners will be drawn at random. For an extra chance to win, you can also like the Vondelicious Facebook page 🙂
The winners of the giveaway are Amber and Andy– let me know if you haven’t received my email!
Thanks everyone for participating 🙂
Hope everyone had great Christmas!! 🙂
Just letting you guys know that I’ll be taking a short break from blogging whilst I go on holidays. I’ll be back soon after the New Year so until then, hope you all have a great time! 😀
And while I have the chance, here’s a picture of the first ever bento I made (earlier this year) but never got around to posting on my blog! It’s far from perfect, and took me forever to make….but it was heaps fun!
And on another note, the wonderful people at delivery hero chose me as one of their ten winners of the ‘Not Just Another Food Blogger’ award!! (This is my blog’s first proper award so thank-you so much guys!!)They also did a short interview with me- check it out here
They were also kind enough to send me a super cute tea-towel as a gift which I love so much (but haven’t had a chance to take a picture of to show you guys yet!
It’s nearing the end of another month long uni holiday, of which I’ve wasted a week (and counting) just sitting on my recliner doing nothing (recovering from knee surgery). Luckily my laptop’s been fixed so I can now spend my time (relatively) more productively and can finally get around to blogging, after a two month absence from this blog. While I’m still editing photos, this is just a quick post to let you know that I’m still here! 😉
So what have I been up to these holidays?
- Visiting Watkin’s Orchard again this year, this time to their second orchard via the bumpiest road I’ve ever been on. As always we had plenty of mandarins to take home, but this time, they also had mushrooms for picking as well. Although most of the good ones had been picked by the time we got there, we found it even more fun than picking mandarins, though that may have been because we’ve never picked mushrooms before!
- My friend also invited us over to her (amazing) new house and we spent most of the night cooking a bit of Spanish food, which took us a very long time to cook! We made delicious meatballs (from this recipe I think?)
- …and a Spanish bread bake (using this recipe).
Normal blogging should resume soonish- hopefully before the end of my holidays! 🙂
P.S: The pictures in this post have been taken with my new (mirrorless) camera, which I’m still slowly learning to use- you can expect more nooby photos in upcoming posts!
