For the ultimate meat feast, you really can’t go past a Brazilian Barbecue.
I remember the first time I tried Brazilian barbecue and the excitement at the endless varieties of meat that was brought to our table. I’m never good at saying no, especially to good food so I left eating a lot more than I should have stomached. I’ve learnt to tone down a little now, and make good use of the ‘no more food’ sign, but the excitement and fun of Brazilian barbecue is still there, so I was super keen to check our Churrasco in Coogee- one of the top rated Brazilian Barbecue joints in Sydney!

Vinaigrette: A Tomato Salsa with Olive Oil & Vinegar
There’s no shortage of food, and this is apparent when you walk in past the endless rows of rotating skewers before being taken to your seat. It’s a popular spot, with families, couples, groups and even sole diners filling up the space. And at $43 for an all you can eat feast of delicious meats, it’s not hard to see why!

Brazilian Style Rice
Service is swift, and the sides are quickly brought to our table, starting with the Brazilian Style Rice.

Creamy Baked Potatoes with Rosemary and Mozzarella
The Creamy Baked Potatoes with Rosemary and Mozzarella is super rich and creamy, and delicious dish in itself, but we’re conscious of the stomach space it might take.

Portuguese Style Pork Chorizo
We start off with a classic favourite, the chorizo, which is available in both pork and chicken varieties.

Traditional Brazilian Style Picanha (Rump Cap) with Churrasco Seasoning.
Then we move onto the classic Brazilian BBQ staple, the Traditional Brazilian Style Picanha (Rump Cap) with Churrasco Seasoning.

Traditional Brazilian Style Picanha (Rump Cap) with Churrasco Seasoning.
Rather than being served on the skewer, it’s cooked and sliced, meaning no burnt offcuts. Yay! There’s the signature slab of fat encasing one side of the meat and it’s cooked to the perfect medium, deliciously tender with a beautiful pink shade in the middle.

Roast Pork
We’re impressed there’s also roast pork on the menu, impressive layers of tasty meat and fat, topped with a golden crackling that shatters with an audible crunch.

6 hour Grain Fed Smoked Beef Ribs with Churrasco BBQ Sauce.
Our favourites however, are the smoked meat from their in house smoker. Like these smoked beef ribs which are meltingly tender.
Or the beef brisket, the balance of tender meat and fat, served with a rich and creamy mushroom sauce.
Don’t even ask me what this is I think I was in too much of a food coma to pay attention.
I think it might have been rump, but one thing was for sure, it was super tender and juicy!

Churrasco Hot Chilli Wings
There’s also some chicken options too, like these chicken wings which are tasty, sticky and saucy.
Also tasty are these fried sesame chicken bites, coated in a sticky sauce.

Halloumi
Its not just meat here, and the grilled halloumi proves a popular option, grilled to a beautiful crisp char.

Churrasco Creamy Coleslaw.
Sides are also worth mentioning, and there’s a handful of salads on offer from Caesar salad, to green leaf and a creamy coleslaw which goes well with the meat.

Cheese Bread
But our favourite side is easily the cheese bread.

Cheese Bread
Cute little cheesy bites, these tapioca based cheese puffs have an incredible texture, halfway between that of mochi and bread.

BBQ Pineapple
And for sweets, there’s the BBQ pineapple.

BBQ Pineapple
Cinnamon and pineapple are a match made in heaven, and the tang from the juicy pineapple slices are the perfect way to cleanse the palate and end the feast!
